Parentheses improperly recognized as class info

Reported by VirtualFunction | June 26th, 2008 @ 11:42 PM | in 4.0

Attached shows a corner case I discovered where I wanted to illustrate a method call with latex formatting.

I was baffled to why it was not showing more than the trailing semi colon. I later tried running to_html and it became obvious the the brackets are making the scanner see them as white space when there is no white space in the formatted inline around them.

As stated, this seems to be a bit of a corner case in the sense it requires a number of conditions to be meet to trigger this. However, for programmers who are using RedCloth snippets from C-like language, I do think this will make this issue more apparent.
